The Window Button products are battery-powered, long range RFID tags designed for vehicle identification that feature suction cups for being easily attached or removed from the interior side of vehicle windshields. The Windows Button tags have unique read-only ID and work in combination with readers of the Nedap Identification Systems TRANSIT Series providing extremely reliable reading and read range up to 10 meters. These long range vehicle identification RFID tags can be read also from short distance with compatible 120 kHz hand-held devices. The Window Button without on/off switch is always on, while the Window Button Switch is specifically aimed to applications where the driver must be able to to control the time and distance of readings, since it transmits the ID to the reader only for 5 seconds after the button is pushed. These tags offer an excellent solutions for applications where only a unique read/only ID must be linked to a single vehicle, such as parking access management and gated communities. The lithium battery has an expected life of 10 years independently of the number of times the tag is read and independently of the influence of RF fields from other sources.
