The Sentry AST Worldwide is designed to provide superior on-metal performance in industrial applications and meet the FSTC requirements for IT asset tracking across all the world’s regions in compliance with the Gen 2 RFID standard. It provides read range up to 5 meters when used in the 902-928 MHz frequency band and 2.7 meters in the 860-866 MHz range.

The Sentry AST Multi-Surface is tuned to work on both metallic and non-metallic surfaces eliminating the need to use multiple models of tags and allowing to reduce errors and the time required to match a surface with the proper tag. The Sentry AST Duo provides high versatility since it can be attached directly on the item surface or hung by using a cable tie when on-surface mounting is not practical. The surface can be metal or non-metal as well. The read range exceeds 2 meters in the FCC frequency band for the Gen 2 RFID standard.
