Recently unveiled by Avery Dennison, the AD-172u7 and AD-806u7 are UHF inlays designed to provide excellent performance in retail and healthcare applications that require very small RFID tags.

Featuring an antenna of 22 x 12.5 mm, the AD-172u7 is strongly suggested for retail applications where handheld readers are used. This small UHF RFID inlay is a great solution for jewelry, small apparel items, cosmetics and other goods in retail applications. The product is suitable also for tracking items in healthcare applications. The AD-172u7 offered in wet inlay format with die-cut dimensions of 24 x 15.5 mm.

AD-806u7

The AD-806u7 has an antenna that measures just 16 x 16 mm and is specifically designed to deliver high read performance in pharmaceutical items tagging and other healthcare applications. The product works well in dense tag populations and when placed on containers filled with liquids. Furthermore, in certain situations this UHF tag can take advantage of close proximity of foil blisters and similar packaging used in the pharmaceutical market. Thanks to its small dimensions, the AD-806u7 is suitable also for small apparel items tagging and other item-level applications. The tag is available in dry inlay and wet inlay formats.

Both the AD-172u7 and AD-806u7 leverage the NXP UCODE 7 chip that provides enhanced read sensitivity, 128 bits of EPC memory and a 48-bit serialized and unalterable Tag ID number.
