After launching Silverline, UHF RFID label that offers excellent reading performance of all-surfaces along with the printability and ease of use of traditional RFID labels, Confidex unveiled Silverline Slim and Silverline Micro, new models of the Silverline family designed to meet the requirements of applications where smaller labels with the same features are needed.

Both the new products are delivered in rolls with a disposable spacer-label between each RFID label that protects the print head during the printing/encoding process, and are compatible with many RFID printers from leader manufacturers such as Zebra Technologies. Thanks to their durable construction that protects the internal electronics against ingress of liquids and dusts, and withstands exposure to aggressive chemicals such as sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide and motor oil, these small UHF RFID labels for metal and non-metal surfaces are a reliable solution for tagging a wide variety of assets also in outdoor and industrial environments. Furthermore, they come with a high-performance acrylic adhesive that is optimized for metal and painted metallic surfaces and guarantees long-term grip also in challenging conditions.
Measuring 100 mm x 13 mm to fit narrow surfaces, Silverline Slim offers read range up to 4 meters on metal and plastic, and up to 3 meters on non-metallic containers filled with liquids.
Silverline Micro is very small — it measures 55 mm x 14 mm — and can be read from up to 1.2 meters on metal, plastic and also on non-metallic containers filled with liquids.
Silverline Slim and Silverline Micro are available in two frequency versions, 865-868 MHz (Europe, Middle East, India, South Africa) and 902-928 MHz (Americas, Japan, China).
The standard chip featured by both the products is the Impinj Monza 4QT, but also the Impinj Monza 4E is available upon special request.
