RFcamp unveiled Titan Strip, a rugged on-metal UHF RFID tag that is 6 millimeters wide to fit very narrow surfaces, offering good read range and installation versatility at the same time.

Measuring 60 mm x 6 mm x 3.1 mm, Titan Strip is an excellent solution to track work tools, IT assets and other electronic devices, returnable transport items, work in process parts and many other metallic assets with limited space for mounting an RFID tag. The product can be also attached lengthwise to pipes and other tubular assets. Optimized to provide the best performance on metal with read range up to 2 meters, it can be used also on non-metallic surfaces with reduced range. Despite its small dimensions, Titan Strip can be mounted not only with adhesive but also by means of screws or bolts, and with magnetic holders available at RFcamp. A tag rugged encasement protects the internal electronics from very harsh conditions, such as temperature up to 200 degrees Celsius, challenging thermal fluctuations, prolonged immersion, many corrosive chemicals, shocks and vibrations. Titan Strip leverages the Alien Technology Higgs-3 chip and comes in two frequency versions, 865-868 MHz and 902-928 MHz.
