Dual Frequency RFID cards
SAG’s Dual Frequency ISO Cards combine two different RFID frequencies to get the best of both technologies. The products may combine the UHF Gen 2 functionality for long read ranges with HF or LF 125 kHz technologies that provide compatibility with previously existing systems, large user memory, high-security features and, thanks to the shorter read ranges, advantages in terms of privacy. Also HF/LF can be provides.
The Alien Technology Higgs-3 is the chip used for the UHF part, while the most used HF ICs include: NXP ICODE SLI (ISO 15693), Legic Prime MIM256 (proprietary), NXP MIFARE Classic 1K (ISO 14443 A) and NXP MIFARE DESFire EV1 (ISO 14443 A).
These dual frequency RFID cards feature a durable IP68 construction and are available also in other materials for extended temperature ranges. Customization services include various types of printing, single card printing, laser engraving, slot punching and magnetic stripe.
