NEOSID is offering NeoTAG SMD, an extremely small RFID tag for PCB tracking applications that features soldering pads for being mounted on PCBs like any other component.
.
.
Measuring just 4.7 x 3.7 x 3.1 mm, NeoTAG SMD takes up very limited space on the PCB and is compliant with the J-STD-020D standard for being mounted with assembly machines. This RFID tag for PCB tracking uses the NXP ICODE SLIX chip that is ISO 15693 compliant with 896 bits of user-programmable memory, and provides typical read distance of 40 millimeters in air and on non-metallic objects, and simultaneous reading of up to 50 tags, depending on the reading device and antenna. The temperature values for reading/writing operations range from -20°C to 85°C, while the maximum tolerable ambient temperature is 180°C.
