Xerafy Sky-ID

First products of Xerafy’s XL Series of RFID-on-metal high memory tags, the Sky-ID are rugged RFID tags for aircraft parts tracking. These UHF RFID tags are compliant to ATA Spec 2000 requirements and meet the rigorous specifications of the SAE AS5678 standard for passive RFID tags to be used in the aerospace industry.
Featuring the TegoChip family of UHF Gen 2 RFID chips, the Sky-ID RFID tags offer a large amount of user memory to keep trial of the whole maintenance history of aircrafts’ metal parts and to enhance configuration management applications. The large user memory provides permanent data storage for security and anti-counterfeiting purposes. Data can be held reliably for more than 40 years and can be written in multiple subsequent times. These UHF RFID tags are very small in size (35 x 20 x 4.1 mm) and are well suited also for other industrial applications that require a rugged encasement combined with large quantity of user memory and reliable read performance when attached to metal parts.
The first product version is already available and features 8 KB of user memory. Other versions with user memory sizes up to 32 kilobytes will be available soon.
