Featuring a special form factor designed to adhere to curved surfaces, The Omni-ID Adept 500 is a small on-metal UHF RFID tag ideally suited for tracking beverage kegs, gas cylinders, metallic pipes and other curved metallic assets.

The Adept 500 measures only 37 mm in diameter and 11.5 mm in thickness but, despite its small dimensions, delivers read range up to 5 meters when interrogated with both fixed and handheld readers. Available in a single frequency version (860-960 MHz), this EPC Class 1 Gen 2 tag can be used to track assets moving all around the globe. Adept 500 comes with a rugged encasement that is rated IP68 and withstands demanding mechanical stresses and environmental conditions. The tag leverages the Alien Technology Higgs-3 chip. Omni-ID offers ATEX and C1D1/C1D2 certifications as an option.
