The Tag Factory unveiled the M-Cable Tag, a robust, small cable tie UHF RFID tag conceived to easily tag tubular assets of different sizes and other difficult-to-tag assets.

The M-Cable Tag measures just 28 mm x 15 mm x 5 mm and features a 5 mm x 1 mm slot for easy mounting by means of different cable ties. This installation solution offers excellent versatility as it allows to select the proper type of cable tie for any asset and application. Optimized for use on metallic surfaces, this small cable tie UHF RFID tag is well suited for tagging hydraulic gauges, machines such as engines, boilers, pipes, fire extinguishers, roll cages. Being rated IP68 and capable of withstanding permanent exposure to temperature up to 120°C, the M-Cable Tag can be used in harsh industrial and outdoor environments. The tag leverages the Alien Technology Higgs-3 chip and is available in two frequency versions, 865-868 MHz and 902-928 MHz.
