The Rino is mainly targeted to IT asset tracking. It brings together small sizes of just 38 x 14 x 3.4 millimeters with read range up to 5 meters. This UHF RFID tag provides excellent cost-to-performance ratio also in metal hand tool tracking, work in process management and other metal asset tracking applications which require a small, cost-efficient RFID tag solution.

The Rino L has bigger sizes — tit measures 50 x 15 x 5.5 mm — and can be read from up to 8 meters on metal. This EPC Gen 2 tag is well suited for identification of metal pallets and other returnable transport items, storage racks and other large metal assets, servers in data centers. It is easily fixed through the adhesive back or cable tie providing high attachment versatility. RTEC can deliver the product with different encasement solutions based on customer’s requirements.

Both these small RFID tags for metal assets have a robust ABS encasement, features Alien Technology Higgs-3 chip and come in three frequency versions for use in different regions: 865-868 MHz (Europe, Middle East, India), 902-928 MHz (Americas, Japan, China) and 920-925 MHz frequency band (specifically tuned for high performance in China). The products are available in white and blue as standard colors, but other options are available upon customer’s requirements.
