The TROI RS-102 Adhesive Attach Large Pipe and Cylinder Rubber Tags are extremely rugged UHF RFID tags designed for tracking of assets in the oil and gas, heavy machinery and construction industries. These Gen 2 RFID tags feature a flexible construction which improves the adhesion to curved surfaces such as tubes and pipes, and are optimized to work well on both metal and non-metal surfaces. Boasting IP69K ingress protection, IK10 (25) impact protection and high resistance to a wide range of aggressive chemicals and mechanical stresses, the TROI RS-102 RFID tags are a reliable solution for the harshest environments. These tags are available also in other versions with different attachment methods such as magnetic backing.

AP-1 adhesive paint

The RS-102, like many other RFID tags from TROI, can be attached with the featured adhesive backing for removable attachment, or using the TROI AP-1, a special adhesive paint for permanent fixing of RFID tags in heavy duty applications. The AP-1 bonds to metals, plastics, concrete and fiberglass allowing to permanently fasten TROI’s tags in a quick way. This special adhesive paint becomes a flexible covering which provides extra protection from chemicals and seepages extending the life of tags (and also tagged parts) in extreme conditions such as under oceans, in the desert or surrounded by arctic ice. The AP-1 is available in custom colors and provided in reusable cartridge and dispenser.
