Intelleflex joins VeryFields with its Battery Assisted Passive RFID tags.
Intelleflex’s BAP RFID tags are high memory tags compliant with the widely adopted EPC Class 1 Gen 2 standard and also the new ISO 18000-6c Class 3 standard that adds extensions specifically conceived for BAP RFID tags (Class 3 tags). While all data and memory formats of the EPC Class 1 Gen 2 standard are retained, the new standard features an innovative Manchester forward link (reader to tag communication) that enables significantly longer read ranges, higher control of the interference that results from such long ranges, and improved battery power management.
The Intelleflex BAP RFID tags are part of an innovative technology platform named Intelleflex XC3, the first dual protocol product set supporting the new ISO 18000-6C Class 3 standard and the existing EPC Class 1 Gen 2 Standard.
