A renewed range of BAP RFID tags and a new temperature sensing RFID tag from Intelleflex

Intelleflex updated its BAP RFID tags and launched a semi-passive RFID tag with built-in temperature logger.

TMT-8500

The TMT-8500 Temperature Monitoring Tag is an XC3 Technology RFID tag that combines high sensitivity temperature sensing functionality with ISO standards-based RFID wireless communications.
Providing read ranges that exceed 100 meters, this temperature sensing RFID tag is specifically designed for cold chain monitoring applications and offers excellent visibility and efficiency in perishable goods’ tracking.
This RFID tag features single dual color LED and single button for user control and tag status, user configurable start sample time, sampling interval, low and high temperature alarm thresholds.
User memory can be used for temperature sample storage (up to 3.600 samples), user defined data and way-point data.
Multiple data logging modes can be set for increased storage capacity and increased monitoring time.
The battery has a two-year shelf-life, based on typical use cases. Shelf Life Prediction Modeling (SLPM) is supported at multiple levels of sophistication: from generic on-tag calculations to complex analytics by using software APIs.
The TMT-8500 comes in a single version tuned for FCC- regulated areas (902-928 MHz).

The Ditag PROCETEX are extremely small RFID tags expressly conceived to track garments along complete domestic or industrial washing and drying cycles. These Gen 2 RFID tags are made of textile and can be easily sewn on garments.
Some details about the heat resistance provided by the Ditag PROCETEX RFID tags:

Washing strength: 90°C for 30 minutes (50 times)
Resistance to heat – Drying: 90°C (Drum drying), 140°C (tunnel drying).
Resistance to heat – Ironing: 190°C for 60 secs (50 times max).
Resistance to autoclave sterilization: 121°C for 15 mins (60 times).

The Ditag PROCETEX are available with different inlays/ICs in order to meet customers’ specific requirements.
