Xerafy Micro II - Autoclavable version USThe Xerafy Micro II Autoclavable version is a compact on-metal RFID tag designed to provide extremely long read range combined with resistance to chemical and autoclave sterilization.
The read range achieves 10 meters in spite of dimensions of just 51mm x 36.3mm x 7.5mm.
The Micro II Autoclavable version is ideally suited for tracking surgical trays, healthcare equipment and other metal assets that must undergo autoclave or chemical sterilization.
The tag feature IP69K protection against the ingress of dusts and liquids, and is tested to survive chemical sterilization conducted with a variety of agents, hot steam and autoclave sterilization, disinfection with hot water, disinfection with UV light, ultrasonic cleaning and enzyme washing. The Micro II complies with the most stringent US Food and Drug Administration requirements for medical devices (FDA Class 1).
The product can be mounted directly to flat metal surfaces with screws or by means of a metal bracket that allows screw-mounting and welding.
This product version is specifically optimized for use at 902-928 MHz (Americas, China, Japan).
