Tertium Technology GasLogger O2The Tertium Technology GasLogger O2 is a compact active RFID tag specifically designed for long-term monitoring of oxygen concentration, temperature, humidity and pressure inside packaging and containers of food, horticultural and other organical products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and other perishable goods. The tag is used also to keep under control the conditions of cases and small rooms where fine arts are stored.
Thanks to its large on-board memory, the GasLogger O2 can store up to 75000 oxygen proportion + temperature + relative humidity + pressure data samples.
Compatible with the Tertium Technology MWS Readers and IceTag Cube Reader, which work at 2.45 GHz over a proprietary protocol based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, the GasLogger O2 provides robust radio communications. The read range that achieves 50 meters and the capability of managing many tags at a time with a single reader, make it affordable to deploy wide-area systems. The Tertium Technology Readers are small and easy to install as they can be connected to PCs and other IT devices via USB cable, Bluetooth and GPRS, depending on the reader model.
With the help of the TT-RFID protocol, a software platform that allows simultaneous and homogeneous management of all the Tertium Technology readers, including the HF ISO 15693 and UHF EPC Class 1 Gen 2 devices, the development of solutions based on the Tertium Technology active RFID technology and the integration with passive RFID systems is extremely easy.
The Tertium Technology hardware products are offered with different software packages and service levels to meet all the needs of users and integrators that want to develop applications from scratch or adopt ready-to-use functionalities. The options range from a low-level Software Development Kit for users who need maximum flexibility in the development of their applications, to those who want a set of ready-to-use applications. As standard, the GasLogger O2 comes with a replaceable CR2 3V 850mAh lithium battery with a shelf from 2 to 10 years. Other CR2 3V batteries with longer shelf life available upon request.
