HID Global IronTag 206 - Impinj Monza X-2K Dura USThe HID Global IronTag 206 is a small on-metal UHF RFID tag that provides large user memory and resistance to extremely harsh conditions, including exposure to flames. The product has an UL 94 V-0 rating that means it immediately self-extinguishes when a flame source standing on it is removed, without dripping burning particles that might cause flames to spread. Additionally, the IronTag 206 is waterproof and capable of surviving mechanical stresses, high temperature peaks up to 220 degrees Celsius, challenging thermal cycling, exposure to aggressive chemicals and long-term use in outdoor environments.
In spite of its small dimensions of just 33 mm x 30 mm x 5.8 mm, the product delivers read range up to 2.5 meters and features two holes to be firmly mounted with screws.
Featuring EPC Class 1 Gen 2 compliant integrated chips of the Impinj Monza X series, which offer large user memory with the capability of being permanently locked after being written, the IronTag 206 is suitable for tracking aircraft parts during assembly and maintenance, and other applications requiring a rugged UHF RFID tag that must securely store the whole history of tracked assets.
This product version is optimized for use at 902-928 MHz and uses the Impinj Monza X-2K Dura chip that offer 128 bits of EPC memory, a 48-bit unique unalterable serial number and 2176 bits of user memory.
