Farsens RMeter-MA10The Farsens RMeter-MA10 is a passive RFID ohmmeter designed by Farsens to allow other companies to develop custom wireless sensors based on any resistance-dependant transducer that meets specific application requirements at best.
The RMeter-MA10 tag acts as an interface between any resistance-dependant sensor without wireless transmission and any EPC Gen 2 RFID reader, which will receive the read resistance values along with the tag ID.
The measurable resistance values range from 10 ohms to 10 megaohms, with accuracy of +-3% from 100 ohms to 500 kiloohms and of +-7% out of this range.
The RMeter-MA10 standard models come in non-protected PCB formats for being encapsulated or embedded in non-metallic assets/materials, but optional fully customized encasements render the products suitable for harsh industrial environments and meet any requirement in terms of mounting options.
The RMeter-MA10 can work without the need for a battery, though adding one can increase the the read range.
